I am very passionate on a personal level about delivering news that impacts people. I believe local news is an important pillar of the community. As such, I will never settle in my aim to tell the stories about the people in these communities. I believe it is a job of a Producer to always have a strong vision and to be the cohesive unit of a newsroom.

Personable

If a Producer must be a natural leader in the newsroom, I believe that also means they must make sure that everyone—-from anchors to reporters to production crews—wants to do a good job. I think there is plenty of room in this industry to have fun, make friends, and create a healthy work environment. That makes everyone do better work. Part of my philosophy is making the newsroom an exciting and hard-working place.
